El arte óptico y cinético se ha caracterizado por el empleo de materiales industriales, y la implementación de los avances tecnológicos de su tiempo. La galería RGR se ha caracterizado, desde su apertura, por mostrar artistas que representan precisamente a este movimiento artístico.
A través de la combinación de medios análogos (como la pintura en aerosol) con sofisticados métodos de impresión digital. Felipe Pantone ha encontrado un lenguaje único produciendo imágenes que tienen resonancia aún dentro del masivo tráfico visual urbano, con el cual es muy fácil identificarnos sobretodolo que hemos atravesado por la transición análoga-digital.
La obra de Felipe Pantone es como un imán que te atrapa inmediatamente, quizás sea por los colores estridentes que emplea o por la manera en la que juega con nuestra percepción. Sea lo cromático o lo gráfico, su atracción radica en que ambos evidencian la diferencia entre lo real y lo virtual. Su trabajo muestra la manera en la cual, a pesar de lo efímero de su materialidad, cada tecnología crea una significación en el tiempo.
