Rafael Lozano-Hemmer (Ciudad de México, 1967) es un artista conceptual que trabaja con la tecnología para crear instalaciones interactivas. El concepto detrás de la exposición surge a partir de la investigación que el artista mexicano realizó después de escuchar la frecuencia cardiaca su bebé cuando su esposa estaba embarazada de su primer hijo y posteriormente de gemelos.
Organizada por Arte Abierto, la exposición interactiva está conformada por cuatro salas en las cuales literalmente los latidos de tu corazón y tus huellas dactilares serán los que activen las piezas mediante sensores biométricos que medirán tu ritmo cardiaco visualizando su efecto físico de manera estética.

Rafael Lozano-Hemmer (Mexico City, 1967) is a conceptual artist that works with biometrics technology to create interactive and immersive installations. The concept behind this exhibition came from the research the Mexican artist did after listening to his baby’s heart rate when his wife was pregnant with her first-born child and subsequently with twins.
Organized by Arte Abierto, the interactive exhibition consists of four rooms in which literally the your heartbeat and fingerprints will be the ones that activate the pieces through biometric sensors that will measure your heart rate visualizing its physical effect in an aesthetic way.
